AC Schnitzer announced a very cool tuning kit for the BMW M4 Competition, in both coupe and convertible versions
The most impressive updates were made under the hood, but the tuner also worked on the car's exterior look and driving dynamics
A base BMW M4 Competition is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six engine that delivers a total of 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque
AC Schnitzer is offering two different stages of upgrade
In stage 1, the output is taken up to 590 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque
While stage two goes up to 610 horsepower, but torque is being kept at the same 553 pound-feet
There is also a new stainless steel exhaust system with a pair or "Carbon Sport" tailpipes placed on each side
Exterior changes start with a new front splitter and new front side wings that together will offer an additional downforce of 40 kilos
For the Coupe version there is a new carbon-fiber "racing" rear wing that adds another 50 kilos of downforce
A new carbon fiber rear spoiler adds another 20 kilos of downforce
And a new rear roof spoiler makes the car look sportier
The Convertible version on the other hand will only receive carbon rear diffuser and a rear skirt protection foil
The tuner is also offering two different set of wheels, sized 20 inches in diameter and offered in various colors and designs
The interior will add a sports steering wheel made from a fine material mix of perforated Nappa leather in black with black Alcantara
The package also includes a RS coilover suspension in both rebound and compression, for both front and rear that will lower the car’s ride by about 30 to 40 millimeters
If that is just too much for you, you can also opt a spring kit that will lower the ride by 15 to 20 millimeters
