What changes were made under the hood?

In base form, the BMW M8 Competition is powered by a 4.4-liter M TwinPower Turbo V-8 engine that delivers a total of 617 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. But Manhart was able to add more than 200 horsepower, with just a "few" tricks.

These tricks include a performance kit combined with a turbo upgrade, an intercooler upgrade, a carbon air intake and the addition of a new stainless steel exhaust system that ends with four tailpipes, each 100 millimeters in diameter.

There is no word on how these changes improved the car's performance figures, but for sure it will be faster than the base M8 Competition. As a reminder, the sprint from 0 to 60 mph is done in 3 seconds, while top speed is 189 mph.

What other changes will we get?

Of course, a car with this amount of power needed a more aggressive look. So, Manhart added a carbon fiber body kit that includes: a bonnet with GTR air outlets, a front spoiler, side skirts and a rear diffuser.

The final touches of the exterior look are a new set of wheels, sized 21 inches and wrapped in 275/30ZR21 and 295/30ZR21 tires. They are of course combined with an upgraded suspension, with adjustable KW springs that will optimize driving dynamics.

The tuner is also offering a few updates on the interior, including an Alcantara steering wheel and various carbon fiber accents.
