2022 Manhart MHX7 650
With 650 horsepower under the hood, it seems like a good replacement for the X7 M
by Alina Moore, onThe BMW X7 is already about to receive an update and there is still no word on an M version. In fact, everyone already accepted the fact that there won’t be a BMW X7 M - as noted by BMW many times before. For those who want a more powerful BMW X7, Alpina is offering the XB7 - a model that delivers 89 horsepower and 37 pound-feet more than the BMW X7 M50i.
But, now there’s an even more powerful option available at your disposal - the Manhart MHX7 650 package for the X7 M50i, which delivers a total of 650 horsepower!

What updates were made under the hood?
As mentioned above, the new MHX7 650 package is based on the X7 M50i. In the standard form, the SUV is powered by a 4.4-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine that delivers a total of 530 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. These are great numbers for a luxury SUV if you ask us, but it seems that Manhart disagrees.
The tuner wanted to see where exactly can it take the final output of the V-8 engine, so it installed an in-house MHtronik auxiliary control unit, removed the standard OPFs, and added a new sports exhaust system with valve control and four carbon fiber end pipes.
As a result, the output goes up to a total of 650 horsepower and 678 pound-feet of torque; which is an increase of 120 horses and 125 pound-feet of torque over the standard specs. Manhart said nothing about how these numbers will affect the X7’s performance figures, but we expect them to improve a lot. By comparison, the X7 M50i goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and up to a top speed of 130 mph.
How about the exterior look?
The exterior updates offered for the BMW X7 are very similar to what you have seen in all the other Manhart tuning kits. All the new parts are made out of carbon fiber and they include a new front spoiler with strikingly shaped winglets, a new rear diffuser, and new exterior mirrors. A must for a Manhart car is the matte black vinyl background combined with the golden decal set.
The MHX7 650 rides on a new set of 11x23-inch Manhart wheels in Y-spoke design and wrapped in XL tires measuring 295/35 R23. The tuner is also offering new coupling rods that will bring the car closer to the ground by 25 millimeters (One inch).
