Tracy Morgan’s Bugatti Isn’t Worth What He Paid for it Now
The Bugatti Veyron, once the world’s fastest car, remains popular among the world’s highest grossing celebrities. Jay-Z has one, and so do Tom Cruise, Chris Brown, and Xzibit, to name but a few. Tracy Morgan happily added himself to the list of Veyron owners just the other day but, 15 minutes into his Veyron experience, the pearl Grand Sport he’d just taken delivery of got sideswiped by a CR-V. The car lost $200,000 off its value that very second and Morgan lost his calm. And you thought your day was bad!
Remember when you last bought a new car last time? Not necessarily a brand new car, but one that was new for you and you were just ready to be its new custodian. Remember how you tentatively drove it home? And how you tried not to get the interior dirtied up and how you parked it away from everybody else so that there’s no danger of any oblivious simpleton with a rust bucket to park near you and carelessly scratch your car when opening his door as wide as it goes. Well, you probably never bought a Bugatti Veyron so imagine how Morgan must’ve felt when an SUV driver who was, apparently, on her phone, attempted to make a right turn from the left lane, completely missing the low-slung Veyron right next to it. You can’t? Well, I can’t either, and maybe that’s not a bad thing after all.
Did Cristiano Ronaldo Just Buy the Bugatti La Voiture Noire?
As it turns out, former Volkswagen Group chairman Ferdinand Piech may not be the owner of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire after all. Rumors have instead been flying around that the new owner of the world’s most expensive production car is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. Bugatti has yet to confirm the purchase of the $18 million hypercar, but the French automaker did say that it had already found a buyer for the masterpiece Bugatti. The company has so far refused to reveal the deep-pocketed individual, but Spanish publication Marca is reporting that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and one of the greatest football players of all time made the historical purchase, adding what could be the crown jewel to his already impressive garage of high-end exotics.
Cristiano Ronaldo Buys Bugatti Veyron To Celebrate Euro 2016 Win
It’s been less than a week since the Portuguese national soccer team won Euro 2016 in France, and its main star, Cristiano Ronaldo, is celebrating behind the steering wheel of his brand-new Bugatti Veyron. Also known for his passion for supercars, Ronaldo has recently taken delivery of one of the last Veyrons built. Word has it that Real Madrid’s player paid about £1.7 million (around $2.25 million) for the car. The Portuguese showcased his latest purchase on Instagram and referred to the car as an "animal."
Ronaldo has now joined a host of sports stars that at some point owned a Veyron, including boxer Floyd Mayweather and Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos. Also, he is now the proud owner of one of only 450 Veyrons ever built. Being one of the last vehicles to leave the company’s shop, Ronaldo’s example is a Grand Sport, which is Bugatti talk for convertible/targa.
As a reminder, the Veyron Grand Sport uses a quad-turbo, 8.0-liter W-16 engine rated at a whopping 1,184 horsepower. It needs less than three seconds to hit 60 mph from a standing start, while its top speed is an impressive 254 mph.
The new Veyron Grand Sport is just one of Ronaldo’s many cars. The Portuguese player owns several Porsches, Ferraris, and Bentley, as well as a Rolls-Royce Phantom and a Maserati GranCabrio. In 2009, he crashed one of his Ferraris in England, but hopefully the Veyron won’t have the same fate.

This weekend not only marks the beginning of the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, but also the launch date of the annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 43rd edition of the auction will be a special one, as the company prepared a series of special vehicles that will be auctioned to benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
One of these vehicles is a 2008 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 owned by Simon Cowell. When Cowell bought the Veyron back in 2008, it was the fastest street-legal vehicle in America, so this makes it even more special.
The car comes with only 1,300 miles on the odometer and all of them were with Cowell at the helm. It features a custom black paint with black interior — this is one of just a few Veyrons offered in American in this configuration. The car also benefits from a full one-year, extended factory warranty offered directly through Bugatti.

Earlier this year Flo Rida decided that a $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron is just not enough for him, so he decided to wrap in gold. Of course, this was basically just a grab for attention.
Now, from gold Flo Rida decided to go pink with his Veyron. This time it is for more than just attention, as the pink hue is to help raise awareness for breast cancer — October is the official month for breast cancer awareness for those that don’t know.
Along with the pink wrap, Flo Rida’s Veyron also dons the immediately recognizable pink ribbon — the official breast cancer awareness logo — on its hood, chromed wheels and some chrome insertions on the grille.
Last time around, we couldn’t help but laugh at the golden shimmer of Flo Rida’s rig, but this time around, we have to admit that he did this over-the-top wrap for a good cause: saving the ta-tas. Hat’s off to you, Mr. Rida...

Last year, rapper Flo Rida was charged with driving under the influence while in his $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron. Back then, he had his license suspended, but it seems that now the rapper is getting ready to get behind the wheel again. His Bugatti Veyron has just been wrapped in chrome by Metro Wrapz. The chrome wrap has been combined with a silver stripe going from the black hood to the back of the vehicle. This one small modifications probably just increased the price of his car to about $2 million. Must be nice.
The Bugatti Veyron probably didn’t need this update in order for it to be noticed, but it looks like Flo Rida really likes shiny things. Let’s just hope he won’t be tempted to test the car’s top speed on the streets!

James May, one of the three stars from Top Gear, had the chance to drive the amazing Bugatti Veyron SuperSport recently. Nicknamed "Captain Slow," May is anything but slow as he took the SuperSport on the Volkswagen Group’s private Ehra-Lessien test track in Germany where he managed to hit an incredible top speed of 417km/h or the equivalent of 259mph.
So how does the world’s second fastest man celebrate?! Check out his great victory dance!
The Bugatti Veyron SuperSport is powered by a 16-cylinder engine that delivers a total of 1200 HP and a peak torque of 1106 lbs-ft. The car can sprint from 0 to 60 mph is just 2.5 seconds and goes to an impressive top speed of 267 mph. However, this impressive supercar comes with a huge price: $2.4 million. So you can imagine that not many people will be able to drive one, let alone own it.
Oh the tragedy! Many Americans may not be too familiar with Katie Price, but over in the UK, Price is widely known for her television appearances, her lackluster singing career, and her published books. With so many hobbies, we can only imagine that this little harlot has plenty of money to spend which is evident in her newest toy, a Bugatti Veyron.
Price laid out £1million - or around $1.6 million at the current exchange rates - on this beautifully fast supercar and plans on ruining it by painting it pink to match her other vehicles. Yeah, she has other pink cars to boast of. A close source to her said: "She will anger petrol-heads worldwide by turning such a beautiful, iconic machine bright pink. But at least it will match her other cars." Just goes to show that money can’t buy taste.
In addition to the high cost of the supercar, it seems Price has also purchased a rather expensive "F1" license plate. The Sun doesn’t say anything about the F1 plate slapped right on the front of the car, but it looks very similar to the license plate auctioned off in 2008 to Afzal Kahn (Kahn Design owner) for £440,000 (about $880,000). We don’t know for sure, but with the amount of money Price throws around, we wouldn’t be surprised.
It seems that Birdman aka Bryan Williams has already grown tired of the Exelero he purchased back in February. The American rapper recently purchased yet another vehicle to add to his collection and, although his new Bugatti Veyron isn’t as expensive as the Exelero, it’s equally as impressive.
The rapper seems to have a thing for the color red too, as his $2 million fire flame red Veyron matches his red helicopter. According to Birdman "red is a fly color. It’s hot; represents heat. It’s the flyest color out there and it just blinds me."
Hopefully the color won’t blind him too much considering he’ll now be sitting in a 1001 HP quad-turbocharged W16 supercar. The funny part about that is the rapper insists he is not one of those guys that likes speed: "I’ve gone on the interstate and busted, maybe, 160 [mph] going to the Heat game. Besides that, I don’t really play with speed. I ain’t one of them that play in that world. I do like it ’cause it’s fly and the fastest car in the world and it’s expensive, but I don’t like playing with too much speed."
Somehow, we don’t believe that, but we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. However, he can bet on the fact that we’ll be watching closely for his next speeding ticket.

Rapper, Flo Rida - aka Tramar Dillard - hit a Low in his personal life after deciding to jump into his red and black Bugatti Veyron. after indulging in a "few" drinks on Wednesday night. Apparently, the American rapper and singer proved the Club Can’t Handle Me when he was caught driving under the influence at about 4am somewhere in Miami.
The police officer making the arrest said Flo Rida had bloodshot eyes and was slurring his speech when he was pulled over. In an attempt to escape the usual roadside sobriety test , Flo Rida told the police: "Officer I can’t do this. I don’t feel I can walk a straight line. I had a few drinks." Upon taking a hit of the breathalyzer, the rapper scored a 0.185 alcohol level which is more than twice the legal limit. Of course "few" was not the correct word as the breathalyzer test measured .185 or more than twice the legal limit. Bad move, Flo.
Flo Rida was arrested and charged with a DUI after the failed sobriety test, even though a large crowd had gathered to defend the rapper and convince the men in blue to let him go. Of course, it didn’t help that he was also driving under a suspended license. Didn’t he learn anything from Paris Hilton?
Fans of the rapper can rest easy, though. Flo Rida easily posted the $2,000 bail needed to get him out of the clink and has been granted permission to head on overseas to Bangkok and Thailand for a series of gigs that had already been scheduled.
For a man who seems to have everything – money, fame, and a smoking hot wife – you would think that there’s no gift on the planet that can make a guy like Jay-Z jump in surprise.
Actually, you’d be surprised how a $2 million superdupercar can elicit that very reaction from the hip-hop mogul.
We just found out that Beyonce, the aforementioned smoking hot wife, has given Jay-Z quite a birthday present by giving him the keys to a brand new Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport.
The Veyron Grand Sport is powered by a 16.4-liter engine that produces 1,000 horsepower with a top speed of 253 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.7 seconds.
The new Veyron Grand Sport is just the latest in a line of exotics that will be finding its way into Jay-Z’s garage, joining such exclusive supercar company as a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Maybach, and a Pagani Zonda.
We’d like to think that someday, our better half would find a way to get us a Bugatti Veyron for our birthdays too. Oh, Jay-Z, aren’t you just the luckiest man on the planet. The fact that you have one of the hottest women as your wife that just so happens to give you a Veyron Grand Sport for your birthday is the stuff that our dreams are made of.
Bijan Pakzad, more commonly known as just Bijan, is an Iranian designer well known for his menswear and fragrances. Then there’s also his love of cars which is evidenced in the yellow Bentley Azure, black Bentley Azure, black Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, yellow Ferrari 430, and yellow Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe that can be seen parked outside of his US boutique on any given day. If you’ve picked up on the color scheme preferred by this designer then you will not be surprised to see that Bijan has moved on to a Bugatti Veyron, and followed it up with a similar black and yellow color scheme.
Black and yellow may not be the first choice of many who are customizing their vehicles, but given the designer’s preference for the combination, we’d have to say that it is very fitting. Add the fact that Bijan went as far as to airbrush his icon on the bonnet, slap on some yellow wheels, and park it right smack in front of his boutique in Beverly Hills, and this Bugatti seems to be ideal for the owner that has chosen it.
When it comes to P Diddy and his music videos, you know it is all about eccentricity. So, it comes as no surprise that in his latest video-clip, "Hello Good Morning" he is behind the wheel of a black Bugatti Veyron!
This is the first time the 1001 HP supercar has made an appearance in a hip hop music video, but it is definitely not the first time a rapper has decided to decorate the screen with a luxury car. Remember Lloyd Banks and his video, "Beamer, Benz, or Bentley"? Or how about Jay-Z’s video, "On To The Next One" featuring the 2011 Jaguar XJ? Let’s face it, when it comes to rappers and their cars, the sky is definitely the limit. And we love to sit around and wait to see what other beautiful automobiles will be showcased on the tube when a rapper decides to throw his money in all of our faces. Yes, this is jealousy talking.
Bugatti unveiled the EB 110 to honor Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday (this is where the name comes from). It was powered by a 3.5-liter V12 with dual overhead camshafts and produced an impressive 550 HP. The SS version (Super Sport or Sport Stradale) developed a total of 715 HP and was limited to only 33 units.
One of those illustrious vehicles was owned by Michael Schumacher. Of course, that is, until recently. His sparkling, one of a kind yellow Bugatti is now available for sale on JamesList. The EB 110 comes from a high class collection and was never even used. The 2875 miles on it are proof that this baby barely saw the road. So, if anyone is in the market for a mint condition Bugatti EB 110 and has $745,680 to invest in a supreme automobile; this is your chance.
Video: Jay Leno drives a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport in response to Conan O’Brien’s Bugatti Veyron Mouse
Last week, Conan O’Brien’s Bugatti Veyron Mouse became the talk of the town after it made an appearance at one the last episodes of the Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien. We’re thinking that the whole segment was O’Brien’s own way of taking a little dig on Jay Leno, who’s famously known for being a car enthusiast.
Well, consider this video as Jay Leno’s response to Conan’s little skit.
In the latest episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, Leno featured his very own Veyron, a 16.4 Grand Sport. The big difference is that while O’Brien loaned the one that appeared on the show from the Petersen Automobile Musem, Leno’s Veyron looks like it’s actually his.
We figured that this so-called Late Night Wars reached its end after Conan and NBC agreed on a buy-out settlement and the comedian was brought of his contract with NBC, but now it seems that it’s only heating up and don’t be surprised if Leno turns the table on Conan with a few skits of his own directed at the latter in the coming weeks.
Until then, consider this video of Jay Leno driving around in a Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport as the opening salvo.
On today’s TopGear blog, Andy Wilman, the executive producer of Top Gear, is telling us that Clarkson was bluffing when he told some "socialist hippies at a book festival" that he scored a 186 mph on public roads with the Veyron: "Now the thing is, you’d need a frigging Tardis to do 186 mph in the Limehouse Link". For those of you speaking proper US English, it means that it is impossible. We think it is very possible as the tunnel is 1.1 mile and the Veyron can reach the quarter mile in 10.2 seconds at 143 mph.
Anyways, Mr Wilman now blames everybody for harassing Jeremy, aka Jezza. "we’re in danger of becoming a country where it’s a crime to be fatuous, to make mischief or just practice the fine art of talking bollocks." said the producer.
So who got the biggest ’bollocks’, Jeremy or his producer, who’s trying to convince us that Jeremy cannot push the Bugatti to 186mph under one mile :)
How hard is it to open a car doors? Seems to be very hard for some people. And if you are a celebrity, lets say Tom Cruise, you have lots of cameras arround you is also vey embarrassing...
But simply watcht the video and you will see what is a real mission impossible for Tom Cruise ;)
