When I first read this article, I said... well I can't tell you what I said... just "Kids in our days!" and "What are those parents doing?" Of course I am not sure I want an answer to this question!

A girl from Alabama was charged for driving under influence. And you will say saw what? She is not the first one! But she might be the first 11 years old one with this charges. But wait! This is not all! She also lead the police on a high-speed chase (100 mph). I am wondering if at 11 years-old she is having problem with speeding, what will she do when she will have the legal age to drive? About drinking... no comment!

Greg Duck, Orange Beach assistant police chief, said the Tuesday night chase started about 10:30 p.m. in Orange Beach near the Florida line. It ended just inside the Gulf Shores city limits when the girl crashed and rolled the Chevy Monte Carlo she was driving.

Duck said the chase began when a patrol officer saw the car speeding west along Alabama 182. When the officer flicked on his lights to pull the car over, it sped up. Police said the car sideswiped another vehicle during the chase, which reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. Investigators said the girl was taken to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. She was treated for minor injuries and released.

Impressive criminal record for 11 years old: speeding, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless endangerment. And who's to blame for all this?
