The Ford F-150 is as ubiquitous as vehicles get in America, making it hard for F-150 owners to stand apart from the crowd. Well, one aftermarket company has been turning Ford’s bread-n-butter profit machine into limited-edition truck with looks not seen elsewhere in the industry. This – the 2016 F-150 Tonka Edition. Oh, and it has a surprise under the hood.

The truck has been worked over by Tuscany, a company known for outlandish body kits and interior upgrades on Ford pickups. This pickup features that familiar yellow paint seen on your childhood toys. Its special bumper, grille, and hood help set it apart, while a mild suspension lift kit and BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires mounted on 18-inch wheels give it an aggressively tall stance.

On top of that, the F-150’s 5.0-liter V-8 is capped with a Shelby performance systems supercharger. According to the dealer listing, the V-8 now makes 700 horsepower. That’s impressive. Of course, the truck comes with 4WD for traction in dirt, sand, and mud. Ford’s six-speed automatic transmission does the shifting.

Tuscany’s relationship with Ford allows customers to special order trucks through the local Ford dealership network, roll the price into financing, and take delivery at the hometown Ford showroom. Pricing for a non-supercharged F-150 Tonka edition hovers around $70,000. Tack on the Shelby performance upgrades, and this sucker is retailing for a whopping $120,000.

Would you pay that kind of cash for a supercharged F-150 that looked like your childhood toy truck? Let us know in the comments.
