Opel tuners and manufacturers of aftermarket styling products Irmscher created the Inspiro concept car for the 2002 Geneva Motor Show.

Built as a design study displaying various Irmscher products, the Inspiro stood little chance of being brought to production. And it wasn't.

The Inspiro's body is manufactured completely out of synthetics and permanently connected with the tubular frame. Beneath the synthetic dress is the roadster's heart, a 3.0-litre Opel V6. The V6 engine develops 225 horsepower - giving the Inspiro concept a projected 0-60 mph time of 5.8 seconds. Using the help of lightweight construction, Irmscher has made it possible to restrict the weight to 780 kg, which, in connection with the six-cylinder, allows a power-weight ratio of only 4.7 kg/kW.
