Ford today announced that the Mustang Bullitt is back on the streets and will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Nov. 13.

Blending the best Mustang ever with the latest Ford Racing technology, this modern classic lives up to the magic of the movie “Bullitt” by delivering a new-generation Mustang Bullitt with the perfect balance of power, performance and a look of quiet intensity.

The 2008 Mustang Bullitt will go on sale next year.

no it comes from the bullit mustang from the 60-70’s it was in a movie very fast car and has become famous world wide

I wonder where was Ford thinking when they choose the name for this model. Did u knew that the translation for "Bullitt" in some languages is "Broken"? I found it very hilarious: a "Broken Mustang". Well, i guess the title says it all.
