We’ve seen some pretty incredible car crashes over the years, but there have only been a few that still stick in our minds months after hearing about them. Now, you can add this one to that list.

If the photos aren’t enough to induce even the slightest cringe, then you’re a lot tougher than we thought because this is about as worse a car crash as you can find anywhere. That’s a 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 except that it’s missing the other half. Unfortunately, after crashing head-on into a Coca-Cola truck at speeds in excess of 120 mph in Veracruz, Mexico, the 911 GT3 was completely eviscerated, with the collision causing the car to be split in half and the rear of the car ending up 900 feet - that’s right, 900 feet! - away from the front. Unfortunately, both the driver of the car and its passenger were killed instantly. It’s bad enough that this 2008 911 GT3 is mangled beyond repair, but what really sticks to our minds is how the two portions of the car ended up 900 feet from each other.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

Well, on that kind of speed it can actually cut a car into two pieces or more because that is really a huge impact.

This is the 2nd 911 GT3 in the last month to split in half on accident and kill all aboard. Really sad. People think they can do anything they want in these cars....it’s obvious they can’t

the porsche is my favorite car- all of them. this is disturbing for me to watch.

900 feet!!!!!
that is the worst car crash i have seen in my life. my theory is that as the car was going really fast- just remember, compared to a coca~cola truck, the porsche is a mouse.- as it hit the truck, i’ll say “sideways” the truck bent the car in half, and that half flew and the truck dragged the other half for a few seconds and the half that bent off slid across the road leaving the two halves of the car 900 feet away from each other.

it kinda confused me a little- what i just explained. just a little.

and a moment of silence for those two who died in the crash and for the least, which is the porsche…………… ………………… ……………… ………………… ………………… ……………… ………………… ………………~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~ ~∞•
