The 200 Saturn Vue will go on sale in the second quarter of 2007. Pricing for the VUE will range from the XE FWD model's base price of $20,770 up to the AWD Red Line model's base price of $28,770 and then some when options are added.

The 2008 Vue will be the the first vehicle to use GM’s new affordable hybrid powertrain.

In addition to the hybrid, the new Vue will be available in XE, XR and Red Line trim levels. These models will offer a wide range of powertrains, including a more powerful four-cylinder engine, and two V-6 choices mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. Later in the model year, a five-speed manual transmission will be available. All-wheel drive is available with both V-6 engines.

The 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line is expected to offer an EPA rating of 29 mpg in the city and about 40 mpg on the highway, a 45 percent increase over the gasoline powered Saturn Vue. The Two Mode hybrid transmission allows the Saturn Vue Green Line to be driven at low speeds on electric power alone.
