At Los Angeles Auto Show, Mercedes announced the 2010 GLK350 will go on sale in early 2009 at a price of $34,750. The 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic model will start at $36,750, including shipping. The GLK is $2,675 cheaper than its closest German competitor, the 2008 BMW X3 AWD and $295 more expensive than the 2009 Acura RDX AWD.

Smaller and lighter than its well-known SUV siblings, the GLK features a fuel-sipping 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 268 hp, a sophisticated seven-speed automatic transmission and available 4MATIC full-time four-wheel-drive. All of these components combine to give the GLK350 an impressive 0-60 time of just 6.5 seconds while achieving an 23 mpg on the highway.

Both the GLK350 and GLK350 4MATIC are matched with a seven-speed automatic transmission as standard.
