How many hours a day are you spending on social media? Today, if you got on Facebook and looked carefully you might have noticed that you are not the only one trying to socialize! The future 2011 Camaro Convertible is also there! So, does this mean Chevrolet will finally give in and admit the Camaro is going topless?

The Camaro Convertible will go into production at the Oshawa assembly plant in the first quarter of 2011. It will be offered in the same three trims as the coupe version: LS, LT and SS.

The LS and LT models will be offered with an advanced 3.6 liter direct-injected V-6 engine with variable valve timing and a choice of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions while the SS model will come with a 6.2L V8 – including fuel-saving Active Fuel Management on automatic-equipped combination – and a six-speed manual transmission.

Okay, enough of the stats. The Camaro is now a convertible! We simply cannot get over this. Plus, Chevrolet could not have timed the sale date any better: the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible should be hitting the streets just in time to enjoy the luxurious weather with the top down. Unfortunately, the pictures did not give away the mechanics of the convertible, but we hope that the closer we get to its arrival, the more information we’ll have. And as always, we will bring you that information as soon as we have it.

In the meantime, "Hey Chevy, leak some more photos!"

I still think it’s the best looking of the Pony-Trio and without the roof, the visibility issue is solved (more or less).

We need a new Challenger, not just a convertible one. Chrysler really needs to step up game, they haven’t done much since their merging with Fiat.

I think Chevy should restore the old model of Camaro but with more added features and gadgets inside.

I’ll take a Mustang, better looking by far on both the outside and inside, faster, more refined, more reliable.

I don’t see much changes on the looks but the rear diffuser and most of the reviews they told that it has an enahced engine and better performance

I agree with Tommi. So, now the new camaro is not a surprise anymore.

If this is the case the maybe this is the final design of the camaro and I’m pretty sure that this is one of the much awaited muscle car of the year.
