To hear that a cool car like a Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport has been completely destroyed by driver’s fault is not something we really enjoy. But this is the way things are and today we have to sadly informed you that a 2011 Corvette Grand Sport has been completely destroyed in a driving under influence crash.

The driver - a young woman - was speeding just after midnight Sunday in the intersection of Lower Sacramento Road and Kettleman Lane/Highway 12. In the intersection she broadsided the 1994 Pontiac Bonneville. As a result the Pontiac model was cut in half and the Corvette was thrown 700 feet away from the crash. It ended upside down.

Luckily the driver and the other two passengers in the Pontiac suffered minor injuries, but the woman in the Corvette is in the hospital with serious injuries. Police coming at the accident said that the woman was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

I have to feel sorry for the people in the Pontiac first, followed by the Corvette who got stuck with a sorry excuse of an owner. It’s quite obvious that she must have been flying without a pilot’s license, as it takes a lot to actually flip a Corvette considering that the center of gravity is so low. As for the Corvette driver, she needs to graduate to riding a bicycle so she can pedal her beer off, as people who tend to drink and drive will continue to do it until they’re either locked away or dead.

The Corvette is one of the speedy vehicle in the lined up of the Chevrolet. I agree that she can’t control the car due to his drunkenness. Well, she still lucky for surviving in the crashed incident.

This is not new us and sadly the most common cause of crashed incident in the road is because of driver’s fault. Aside from the fact that she got drunk for sure its hard for her to control the speed of the car.

She just wasted her money and risked her life. What a stupid idea on putting her own car and life in this absurd situation. This accident is definitely the driver’s fault. How are going to reduce these errors?

Crashing Cars, Drunk Drivers and Destroyed Life may all happen in just a split second. This maybe caused by the drivers lack of tolerance. Remember, we can avoid things like this if we know our limits.

Lucky for the woman, she is still alive. As you can see, the car now is totally wreck. Poor Corvette, it didn’t find a good owner. Better not to drive a car if your drunk

Obviously, this is one of the driver’s fault. Just by looking at the crashed site, we can conclude that the driver was actually not left alive. Its a good thing that he only suffer from minor injuries. I guess from what happened, it left him some important lesson!

As expected from a high performing vehicle plus the driver’s error! This is not the first incident for a DUI crashed. Its just sad that people never learned and this tragic incident continuously happening.
