Buick Regal GS Performance Technology Highlights

Buick’s innovative HiPer Strut front suspension design and Interactive Drive Control System (IDCS) make the 2012 Regal GS performance sedan a true driver’s car. Short for High Performance Strut, this piece of hardware creates a better separation between the front suspension’s steering and shock-absorbing functions through added components that enable the steering knuckle to rotate independently from the strut tower. Ideal suspension geometry is maintained, virtually eliminating torque steer, and improving steering response and overall control. Drivers may also choose more aggressive, performance-oriented damping characteristics and steering effort through the IDCS, which features Standard, Sport and GS modes.
