After the Indian automaker Jaguar unveiled the new XJ sedan they have also announced that the luxury limousine will be followed up by a coupe version. Thanks to the artists at Left Lane News we have a best guess as to what the future stretched luxury coupe will look like.

The Coupe version, will carry the name supposed XJC and will mark the return of the legendary two-door Jaguar XJC luxury sports coupe that was built between 1975 and 1978. The exterior of the all new XJC will be heavily inspired by the limousine, but will feature a much more aggressive front end and possibly a lower roofline lending to the sporty nature of the new car and come at a premium over the four door flagship variety.

The 2010 XJ is the first Jaguar model to be built using Jaguar’s aerospace-inspired aluminum body technology. The vehicle will be available with a choice of new ultra-efficient Gen III classification petrol and diesel engines consisting of a 3.0 Liter diesel V6, a 5.0 Liter naturally aspirated V8 as well as the almighty 5.0 Liter supercharged 8 cylinder power plant. Almost, if not all of this wonderful technology should make it into the upcoming XJC.
