Just a couple of days after the Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition was leaked, Chevrolet has finally made an official announcement unveiling the limited edition models.

The Chevrolet Corvette 70th Anniversary Edition, which will be available as a package for the 2023 model year, will not be limited to just the Z06. Even the standard C8 Stingray will also benefit from this special edition package.

So what do you get when opting for the 70th Anniversary Edition package? Well, you better like red because it’ll come with a number of Edge Red highlights on the Carbon Flash wheels with commemorative wheel caps, brake calipers, and engine cover (if you're opting for the coupe). As mentioned in the leaks, the 70th Anniversary Edition package is available in White Pearl Metallic Tri-Coat or Carbon Flash Metallic. In addition, you can opt for Satin Gray or Satin Black Stripes.

Moving towards the interior, the 70th Anniversary Edition package adds two-tone black and white GT2 or Competition Sport Seats with suede microfiber inserts and 70th Anniversary Edition logos, unique sill plates, and suede microfiber steering with 70th Anniversary Edition logo. There are also numerous red details around the cabin, because of course it does. If the exterior has it, then why not the interior too, right?

As mentioned, the 70th Anniversary Edition package will be available for the Stingray 3LT and Z06 3LZ trims, both of which are available as a coupe or convertible. The first 2023 Corvette Z06 to be ever produced will be a 70th Anniversary Edition model, and it will be auctioned by Barrett-Jackson on January 29th. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Operation Homefront, which helps military veterans and their families, while the car will be driven to the auction block by Corvette Racing driver Oliver Gavin.

Even if you won't opt for the 70th Anniversary Edition package, all Corvette C8s will come with subtle touches to celebrate the model's seven decades of existence. These include a special 70th Anniversary Edition graphic on the lower rear window and a plaque on the center speaker grille.

In addition to all these, Chevrolet also announced that the 2023 Corvette will come with a host of new personalization options, such as 14 new colors and 8 new interior colors. Pricing for the 70th Anniversary Edition package will be announced at a later date.
