The wraps were taken off and the design of the production vehicle has thankfully stayed true to the Fisker Ocean Concept car that debuted last year. Finished in a futuristic silver, you can see that the same minimalistic design with the clean lines has been carried over.

You have thin lighting elements at both ends of the SUV and a pronounced haunch around the rear window, below the C pillar, that juts up adding more muscle. Overall, the design remains boxy, but it somehow embodies some truly futuristic styling, which is refreshing.

It was just a pre-reveal event showcasing the design of the production spec car, with the spectacular pacific ocean in the backdrop

The 2023 Fisker Ocean will head to production at Magna Steer’s Graz facility in Austria by mid-November 2022. Starting at $37,499 without government incentives (29,999, if taken into consideration), the Fisker Ocean undercuts both the Tesla Model Y and the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Fisker’s main intent is to make electric vehicles more accessible, and at such an attractive price, it looks like it might just be able to democratise EVs.
