The RAM TRX 1500 is already a pretty serious truck, to begin with, and is primarily designed as a vehicle to eat anything that you can throw at it out on the trails. What it's not designed for is to go flat out on a drag strip.

However, there are exceptions, like the one we're featuring today. Meet the Big Blue, a TRX that has been turned up to an eleven.

The Big Blue

If you haven't already realized, this is no ordinary truck. The tailgate is missing and the whale of that supercharger is unmistakable. All telltale signs that what you're looking at is something truly lethal. In order to pull 10-second passes, there were obviously some modifications done under the hood. tnamotorsport and dusterhooftuning have worked their magic on this one.

The modifications include

- A Stage 4 TRX Power Package

- Nitrous

- Ported Blower

- 10% o.d. lower pulley

- Smaller lower pully

Now the stock truck features a 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 mill that puts out 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Throw in the mods and that is more than enough grunt to propel this 7,000-pound TRX into the low 10s.

Here's what the Big Blue can do

RAM 1500 TRX vs 10 Second Mustang's

Having looked at what this bonkers TRX is capable of, The Drag Racing and Car Stuff channel put up a video of the Big Blue taking on some seriously quick Mustangs from three different generations which included an old school model. The end result? You can see it yourself in the video below

It was consistently able to pull passes in the low-10s with the fastest one at 10.0011 seconds at 134.07 mph. The RAM TRX 1500 is already touted as one of the quickest, fastest, and most powerful trucks of all time and the Big Blue truly is a testament to that statement. I'm sure that TNA will continue to work on this rig to take this thing into the low 9s. Watch this space.
