Alfa Romeo CEO Luca de Meo confirmed in an interview with Auto Motor Und Sport the new SUV for 2010. A new 147 was also announced for 2009.

This year we will see the new 159, Alfa Spider and the new MiTo. The new MiTo is Alfa's first model into the B-segment and the company has big expectation from this model. They will start producing 60.000 units a year, but they hope to grow up to 75.000 vehicles.

In the summer of 2009 we will see the successor of the Alfa 147, a new compact car with output between 120 HP up to 265 HP. The company will build 85.000 units a year. About at the same time we will see the open variant of the Alfa 8C Competizione powered by a eight cylinder engine that delivers 450 HP. It will be limited to 500 units each priced at 175,500 euros.

For 2010, the company will unveil the entrance of Alfa Romeo into the SUV segment. The project is internally named CX-over. It will be built with an annual volume of well 40,000 units. It will be based on the 2003 Kamal Concept.
