The Italian magazine Quattroroute shown in their latest issue the next model that will use Alfa Romeo’s RWD platform: Giulia, a model that resembles a lot with the current 159 and with front design inspired by the newly launched MiTo. The original Giulia was known for high-performance achieved through using a lightweight ca, and hopefully this one will keep the tradition. The new Giulia will be launched sometime next year. Alfa will has not yet officially confirmed of the name of the new car, but rumors say there will be a GTA version that is supposed to compete with M models from BMW. Giulia will be the last model built on the current RWD platform. The project is internally known as the "code 944" and is intended to make into the D-segment saloon (small executive sedan) market.
