It’s no secret that when Alfa Romeo releases a new model, you can be certain that a GTA version will follow suit. So it didn’t really catch us by surprise when certain birds began singing about a GTA version for the newly launched Giulietta.

According to AutoCar, the future Giuliette GTA - or probably Cloverleaf - will be a FWD model powered by a 1750 TBi turbocharged petrol engine with Multiair that will deliver a total of 235 hp. The engine will also be mated to a new dual-clutch gearbox and will come with a new suspensions and a new braking system, in addition to some form of exterior changes

There are also reports coming out that the Giulietta GTA could be unveiled sooner than we though with April being the date that is being thrown around quite often.

This is something worth to wait. But why don’t you try to change pattern just for a change you can surprise us.

Can’t wait till April then. I have been a fan of hatchback cars for quite some time now and I think that this one will have a great competition with the others such as those hatchback cars from BMW, Mazda and Honda (perhaps?). I find hatchback cars not that difficult to handle on the road and they are cheaper to tune (at some ways) up and customize.

Well for sure GTA performance will add another few bucks on it’s original price, IMO it was just another marketing strategy.
