Merecedes-Benz is looking in Spain for one of its employees who vandalized the Wikipedia entry on Lewis Hamilton. The vandal added a number of derogatory entries to the entry, some purported to be quotes attributed to others. Among them were remarks calling Hamilton “ugly” and accusing him of causing a crash in the Japanese Grand Prix.
Wikipedia has removed the vandal’s material and has locked the entry until October 20th. As Wikipedia tracks those who make entries, either by name (if a member) or computer IP (if not a member), it was able to trace the modification. It traced back to a computer belonging to Daimler located in Spain, and the company is further inevestigating to determine the culprit.
But, there is no indication that Fernando Alonso is suspected.

Even though Alonso is a bit of a punk I doubt he would go that route. I’ve come across some very racist remarks on YouTube put up by a Spanish individual after the blocking incident with Hamilton and Alonso. The person not only blasted Hamilton but blasted the English and England. I don’t know what’s going to happen to the world.
