If you’re looking for a vintage, well-maintained stock Bronco, your search ends here

While the new Bronco has been in the news ever since its launch and the majority of people seemed to have liked it, the old Bronco still enjoys a healthy demand. Any first-gen Bronco that hits the pre-worshipped market has people going gaga over it.

Here is one such 1969 example that arrived on Bring-a-Trailer a few days back and already has people lined up ready to get lay their hands on it. This SUV already has 22 bids and the highest bid stands at $43,500 at the time of writing.

This 1969 Ford Bronco is powered by the stock 302 cubic-inch (5.0-liter), V-8 engine that makes 210 horses and 295 pound-feet of torque.

The engine is mated to a three-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case. It even features a 3.50 limited-slip rear differential. The seller has mentioned that the rear wheel cylinders, brake drums, and lines were replaced in July 2020 along with an oil change, and a new master cylinder was also installed.

On the outside, the SUV seems pretty well-maintained. It wears the Reef Aqua color with a white hardtop. The repaint was done in 2006, but the vintage dual-tone color makes it stand out. It rides on retro 15-inch steel wheels painted in white that are wrapped in 235/75 Bridgestone Dueler All-Terrain tires.

There is a tailgate-mounted spare tire as well. There are a lot of accents on it, like chrome front and rear bumpers, polished side trim, dual side mirrors, and a white grille. For this particular model year, Ford had upsized the orange front signal lenses. A trailer hitch can also be seen peeping out at the back. Also, side reflectors are mounted on the front and rear fenders.

Not A Very Fancy Cabin

The front bucket seats wear Wet Okole floral-patterned covers. It features a stock AM radio and a period-specific aftermarket FM receiver, both are which are said to be inoperative. A RetroSound head unit is also bundled with the Bronco.

The two-spoke steering wheel is also stock, but there is an aftermarket wrap with a Ford center cap on it. As for the other creature comforts, there’s an under-dash air conditioning system, electric windshield wipers, and lap belts. Currently, the odometer shows 60,000 miles, but the total mileage is unknown. The seller has driven just 1,000 miles in the last six years.

There is a data plate on the glove box door that shows that this example was built at the Michigan truck assembly plant and is a June make. The seller had sold this Bronco in 2014, but is now offering it up for sale again on behalf of the current owner. It has a clean California title currently.
