Arash's last production car was the AF10 - a hybrid supercar with a horsepower claim of 2,080 horsepower. But that was back in 2016 and nothing really happened with the supercar since then. Then, back in June 2021, Arash revealed the Imperium - an electric hypercar concept that was suppose to be a preview of the future.

And now, that future has arrived. Arash announced the AFX - an electric hypercar that will take on cars like the Lotus Evija, Rimac Nevera, and Pininfarina Battista.

Of course no details were revealed on the AFX, so we have no idea when it will arrive or how much power it will actually deliver. What we do have are a few teaser images that help us make an idea on how the AFX will look like.

The exterior images reveal a traditional hypercar design, with a compact hood with large air vents and angular headlights up front. The rear is defined by a prominent shark fin - a lot bigger than what we are use to see on cars like Mercedes Project One or Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut for example - and a full-width LED light bar.

The interior also reveals a supercar-like design with the sports seats molded directly into the monocoque, lots of cool technology features and most like what appears to be a huge infotainment system.

As for the powertrain specifications, we can only speculate at this point. The AF10 delivered a total of 2,080 horsepower, while the Imperium concept car generated more than 3,200 horsepower from a four-motor electric powertrain. However, if the AFX really wants to make a mark in the electric supercar market territory it needs to deliver at least 2,000 horsepower. Just for reference, the Nevera delivers 1,914 horsepower, the Evija has 1,972 horsepower, and the Battista 1,900 horsepower.

There is no word on when the AFX supercar will finally be revealed, but we will keep you posted. And while we do appreciate the fact that the Arash AF10 is the fastest supercar in Asphalt 8: Airborne, we hope the AFX will have a better future.
