When you think of muscle cars, the UK isn’t exactly a place you would think would have them in abundance. Sure, there are some scattered in other parts of Europe, but when it comes to meat-grinding muscle, America is where it’s at.

Designer Claydon Reeves hopes to change that perception by designing a concept vehicle that will carry the name of one of the UK’s signature brands; Aston Martin->ke13.

Calling it the CR V8, Reeves designed the car with the intention of showing the world that even a luxury British marquee can be turned into a muscle full of metal mayhem.

The design of the CR V8 is old-school without the fancy digs attached to most concept these days. But what it lacks in aesthetic edge, it more than makes up for in a number of ways. Most of the features are new, including front air dam, side skirts, carbon fiber rear diffuser, headlights, and the front grille. The brakes are also updated to accommodate for bigger wheels and a sturdier damper and roll bars. In terms of performance, the CR V8 will also come with a 5.4-liter V8 engine with twin superchargers that’s capable of producing somewhere in the neighborhood of 550 horsepower.

And the best part is, the car is more than just an elaborate sketch and 3D design. The CR V8 is expected to be introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show next year.
