After Ford has announced that it will sell the Aston martin company, there are rumors that Aston’s boss is interested on buying it. Mean while the big question remains what will Aston Martin bring to us in the future.
Trying to give an answer to this question AutoWeek has made a preview of the models that will be launched in the near future. The first one is the production version of the DBS - a special addition to the Aston lineup as DBRS9 - used in James Bond, Casino Royale.
Aston Martin will build only 300 cars a year -at a price of $250000- based on the DB9. The DBRS9 features a wider track, lower ground clearance, bolder air intakes and a performance boost from 450 to 500 hp from the V12 under the hood.
The V8 Vantage Volante will go on sale in the future six months. The car will eschew the Volante tag for the V8 Roadster moniker, but will feature the same 380-hp V8 and six-speed manual tranny found in the hardtop.
