The oily bits will include a front-engine, RWD layout, all stuffed into a luxury GT speed machine design.

Aston fans are undoubtedly chomping at the bit to get their eyeballs on the official DBS Superleggera debut, but unfortunately, this latest teaser isn’t really all that informative, taking just 12 seconds to show off some artsy shots of stuff like dust whipped up by the wind, a billowing piece of fabric, and other emotive images. The actual car isn’t really depicted, although there is a brief shot of the easily recognizable Aston front intake draped in a grey-brown shroud about halfway in.

Luckily, we’ve already got a handle on what to expect thanks to a series of spy shots of the vehicle lapping at the Nurburgring and a set of leaked images from the car’s debut at a private event in Asia.

The oily bits will include a front-engine, RWD layout, all stuffed into a luxury GT speed machine design, something similar to the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The engine package will include the DB11’s 5.2-liter V-12, which, topped by two turbochargers, spins out 600 horses in the standard model, but is expected to dole out as much as 700+ horses in the new DBS Superleggera. An eight-speed automatic transmission will route the muscle to the massive rear haunches, and 60 mph should arrive in the low-3-second range, with top speed rated at 205 mph.

In addition to a power boost, lightness will also be added over the existing DB11 model, much in the same vein of previous Superleggera versions for the DB4, DB5, and DB6.

Lightness will also be added over the existing DB11 model, much in the same vein of previous Superleggera versions for the DB4, DB5, and DB6. Carbon will help it cut weight, used for the aero package and various body components.

The aesthetic should be more aggressive too, with redesigns for the front and rear fascias, while the interior is expected to get a bit of a re-tweak as well.

Pricing will slot in at around $300,000. Look for the official debut tomorrow.
