Audi celebrates their centenial at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with a new concept
It is no longer a secret that this Friday the German automaker, Audi will be celebrating their 100th anniversary and is planning on unveiling a new concept car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which will take place from July 3-5 in the south of England.
The jaw-dropping 2009 Festival of Speed Central Feature will mark the second occasion that the four ringed automaker has chosen to celebrate a monumental anniversary at the home of the Earl of March. Back in 1999, Audi was honored with one of the most memorable Goodwood central features celebrating the company’s 90th anniversary. The image depicted was that of an Auto Union Streamliner battling an Audi Avus quattro concept car perched high on the banking in a scene reminiscent of the classic German Avus race track.
Audi will also take the opportunity to show off a few more of their creations like the A1 concept car, A5 Cabriolet, factory tuned TT RS and the Lamborghini challenging V10 powered R8 super car at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.
