A while ago McLaren unveiled the S-Works Venge Bicycle and now Audi of America has joined the ranks of automakers selling bicycles with their new creation, the Audi Duo. Audi, in cooperation with Renovo Hardwood Bicycles has unveiled this exclusive bicycle in three different models: City, Sport, and Road.

The new bicycle features a monocoque frame made of hardwood that provides a smoother ride. This feature will ensure that the new Audi duo bicycle will be recyclable and biodegradable. Audi is the first automaker to recognize the benefits of, and offer a bicycle made from, wood.

The first model - Duo City - is priced at $6,350 and features an upright position for short distances, comfort, and traffic vigilance, wide puncture-resistant 32mm tires, LED lights, fenders, and a rack.

The next one is called the Duo Sport and is a model priced at $7,350 that comes with the Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal gear hub, drop bars for long distances, minimum fenders, medium width, and puncture-resistant 28mm tires for less rolling resistance.

The last model is the the Duo Road and is priced at $7,460. This last option features narrow tires, no fenders, minimal accessories, and an SRAM Red, compact 20-speed gear train.

Amazing bike. Good for mountain climbing using a bike. Riding with someone you like with this bike is remarkably a memorable one.

Well, I have to say that I don’t like the styling of the bike. its just a ordinary bike. I’m not impressed with this thing!

Oh hell! its kind of funny on how this car manufacturer keeps on extending its merchandise. I just hate the style of this bike! This is really a contrast in the awesome speed performance of their vehicle.

I’m glad that that duo bicycles are now in action! How fortunate to own this one. Sounds crazy at $6350! I’m thinking of how can be a bike that made from woods, biodegradable and recyclable products were expensive?

I really hate the growing trends of cars nowadays! I really don’t get why they are coming up with this accessories and please the price of that bike i could buy a tuners for my car!

Hideous! What does a bicycle doing in the car section? Is this is the alternative for cars now since the global warming is getting worst?

Hmm, you got a pretty good idea. I can really imagine if Ferrari make their own bike. It would probably be another state of the art piece, with a lot of add ons.

Well, in a sense, yes. This one would be quite useful when you do have an emergency and the car won’t start. You can simply hop on the bike and go.

I really hate this kind of news! I don’t get the point of introducing this thing on the car section. What is this a substitute in case of emergency?

Hmm, I am getting more curious as to the next company who would release their own bike. Hope that Ferrari would join in, it would be pretty interesting to see what they would come up with.

Yeah, that’s quite true. But what’s really cool about this one is how they actually used wood in here. It is actually not that easy to craft a monocoque frame from would but they managed to pull it off.

Well, it is not really that innovative for Audi to use wood on a bike. You might be surprised to find out that the first bikes that were ever made where actually crafted out of wood.

Yeah, the bike’s really looking good. However there is one thing missing on this one, it would probably look even better if it has one of those huge grills that Audi is quite popular popular for.

A wooden bicycle, an interesting combination. Well, thinking of its eco-friendly, recyclable kind of design, and the features, the bike must be a hit among the green lovers. But what about the high price?

So it’s Audi’s time to join this automaker building bikes thing. Well, it really doesn’t look as spectacular as the others, but the parts list are impressive.
