The latest version of Audi’s mid-engine super car, the R8, will feature a 5.2 liter direct injected V10 that will make 525 raging horses. Unfortunately this vehicle overshadows the previous generation R8 when it comes to pure power. However, the German tuners WheelsAndMore saw this coming and are here to give hope to V8 powered R8 owners.

More after the jump.

The upgrades start with a reprogrammed ECU that will add 30 HP to the 420 HP 4.2 liter FSI 8 cylinder engine at a cost of only 1,700 Euros. WheelsAndMore have also come up with a compressor kit to boost output all the way up to 530 HP, that much power does not come cheap, 32,500 Euros. A hand crafted exhaust rounds out the power package adding just the right tone for 4,800 Euro with an optional remote controlled silencer for an additional 900 Euros.

Bringing the modified R8 to a halt are 8 piston calipers up front and 6 piston calipers in the rear, this much stopping power comes at a price of 13998 Euros. WheelsAndMore offer a few options for modifying the suspension. To start out owners can choose from a set of sport springs that will lower the Audi by 30 mm for only 900 Euros. For the more advanced tuner, WheelsAndMore offers a lightweight aluminum fully adjustable race suspension for 3,999 Euros and adds a hydraulic lift feature that allows the vehicle to enter garages without the fear of destroying the carbon fiber front splitter. That insurance policy will set you back 8,949 Euros.

Dressing up the vehicle is a lower front spoiler and rear diffuser both made from carbon fiber costing 2,750 Euros each. To finish off the vehicle, WheelsAndMore offers the choice of two different style rims for the R8 that will cost around 10,000 Euros.
