Now that Audi officially unveiled the R8 GT, we knew it was just a matter of time until someone decided to render a Spyder version of the lighter and more powerful sportscar. In perfect time, a Dutch magazine came up with an idea for the future R8 GT Spyder. This rendering, in a luscious chocolate brown no less, displays a spectacular vehicle with the freedom of the wind blowing through your hair. Cheesy, yes. Tempting as hell, oh yeah.

The R8 GT is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 that has been tricked out to deliver a total of 560 HP and 540 Nm (398.28 lb-ft) at 6,500 rpm. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph in 10.6 seconds, and a top speed of 198.8 mph.

Audi R8 has an awesome speed performance and the Spyder version makes it more sporty. I was impressed on the power output of the car for its removed rooftop haven’t affect the speed of the car.

Aesthetically, the car looks great. The rear skirt makes the car sexier and the Spyder version makes it so aggressive.

Well, I think the car is less powerful for a v10 technology that produces560 hp, its not satisfying. However, the Spyder version is kin of cool!

Are they going to offer other colors except for brown? However, this concept car would be good. I can’t wait to see the outcome of the R8 GT Spyder.
