It’s true that the Audi R8 V10 Plus can be considered as one of the last models in a dying breed of performance cars that use naturally aspirated engines. The evolution of the supercar->ke177 industry has resulted in the prevalence of turbochargers and superchargers being used in a lot of these exotics. But, the R8 V10 Plus->ke1440 remains true to its naturally aspirated roots, and that’s a big reason why Jay Leno is a big fan of the the most powerful production car Audi->ke14 has ever built.

Yes, the R8 V10 Plus made its long-awaited appearance in Leno’s famous auto web series, Jay Leno’s Garage.->ke3731 In typical Jay Leno fashion, the famous collector spent the first part of the episode talking shop with a guest who is usually affiliated with the car that’s being featured in the episode. In this instance, it was Audi Product Manager Anthony Garbis who took up the task of discussing the R8 V10 Plus with Leno. The two talked about a myriad of things about the new supercar, including its features and performance capabilities. At one point, Leno even asked Garbis a little trivia about Audi to which the company man deftly answered without batting an eyelash.

Once the discussion ended, Leno and Garbis took the R8 V10 Plus out for a spin and that’s where we see the most powerful production Audi in full bloom. I’m not going to spoil the full details of what went on in the drive so it’s best to just sit back and watch the whole thing for yourselves.

As a refresher, the R8 V10 Plus’ 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V-10 engine is capable of producing 610 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a “conservative” time of 3.2 seconds while hitting a top speed of 205 mph.
