Auto Motor Und Sport has puted face to face the Audi R8 and the Ferrari F430. In the right corner: Ferrari F430 - the measure of the things and in the left corner the Audi R8 - the measure of the rings.

The Ferrari F430 is designed by Pininfarina while the Audi R8 it is designed by "de Silva". Audis chief designer packed so many ideas in the new ones that others would be enough for three cars. Forms, edges, lines - they all pull the R8 in into a strong tension.

Both F430 and R8 are made out of aluminium. The R8 is not a sensation but more like a question. Because while all the Audi models are limited to 155 mph, the R8 has a top speed of 187 mph. The F430 has a top speed of 196 mph. The R8 makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.9 seconds

The F430 it is powered by a V8 engine delivering 490 hp while the R8 delivers 420 hp. So, no matter what opponent a Ferrari is and allways be a Ferrari.
