The German tuning house Motoren Technik Mayer made news the other day when they managed to squeeze 424 HP out of the turbo five cylinder Audi TT-RS, and they aren't stopping yet. The worst part about Audi dropping the magnificent 4.2 Liter FSI V8 from the lineup is that you no longer had 420 HP at your disposal. However MTM has just come up with a solution for owners of the drop top Audi S5->ke2297 luxury vehicle to enjoy their long wheelbase sports car.

The new performance package consists of a few little computer chips and a free flowing exhaust to take your 333 HP supercharged V6 and boosts it to produce a maximum output of 430 HP and 380 lb-ft of torque, making the smaller engine even more powerful than the old R8->ke1440's unit. The bet part is that you don't have to sacrifice drivability and being a bad neighbor because the MTM exhaust system was built with throttle valves in the tips in order to quiet it down when necessary. The MTM S5 Convertible can now sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in only 5.1 seconds and along with the M-Cantronic unit, the V-Cantronic with V/Max eliminator allows you to reach a top speed of 177 MPH.

In order to ensure that the rest of the car is up to the new car's power output MTM also included a set of their signature Bimoto rims measuring 21 inches in diameter so that they can fit the MTM-Brembo 8 piston calipers and oversized brake disks. Keeping the chassis stable at speed MTM saw fit to use one of their ride height adjustable performance spring kits and ensuring that their rears stayed planted a pair of leather wrapped Recaro Sportser CS racing buckets were installed up front. Overall MTM has managed to massage practically every aspect of the S5 convertible to make it into something more deserving of an RS badge.
