Autocar has the proof that Audi is preparing a RS version for the new Audi TT. The photos where taken during a car testing in Germany.

There are no details about the RS specifications but it will probably use a twin-turbocharged version of the ubiquitous two-litre TSFI four-cylinder engine with an maximum horse power output of 250 or probably 300 hp. This will mean that the new RS will be 50 hp stranger than the current 3.2-litre V6 model. The twin-turbo engine is likely to be mated to six-speed manual and S-tronic transmissions.

The RS version for the new Audi TT is expected to debut by the end of the year.
