Singer Vehicle Design is famous for reimagining classic Porsches. Their previous creation was based on the Porsche 930 Turbo, but they are also famous for previously unveiled DLS packages. No matter the package, each car is modified to reflect the unique tastes and perspectives of its owner, whether targeted at regular use on the road or ultimate performance on road and track.

The latest project – called “Big Sur” is based, like usual, on the 930 Porsche 911 and features a very cool Horizon Blue paint job with top striping in Singer Racing Orange.

The Big Sur package features no major changes to the exterior, with the focus being on the paint scheme. The car is finished in Horizon Blue overlaid with Racing Orange stripes. The car rides on BBS bespoke forged magnesium wheels, with a unique center-lock design. They are wrapped in Michelin performance tires, while the brake pads are finished in the same Racing Orange finish as the contrasting stripes. This means that, like with all the other Singer vehicles, the attention to details in the Big Spur package is mind-blowing.

Inside, the owner opted for sports seats with 4-way electrical adjustment trimmed in Cognac leather. A very sporty touch is given by brass grommets and piano black seat backs. To match the exterior paint, the sills and transmission tunnel are painted in Horizon Blue. The same Cognac leather is found in the luggage compartment, but it received a very elegant look thanks to the Alabaster stitching. The lower surface in the rear compartment is also trimmed in Cognac leather.

Under the hood, the Big Sur offers serious upgrades over the 930 Porsche 911. The 3.0-liter flat-six engine was replaced by a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated, air-cooled, flat-six engine. Singer said nothing about how much power the engine delivers, but a quick look over the tuner's official website reveals the 4.0-liter engine delivers a total of 390 horsepower and 315 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed Getrag manual gearbox and the car can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds.

While there are no other details offered on the Big Sur package, it clearly reminds us of the iconic Gulf Oil livery. There are also no official prices on this specific 911, but we do not expect it to be cheap. Considering that all the other Singer vehicles start from at least $500k, we expect nothing less for the Big Sur package.
