The BMW 1M Coupe is a project that has left much to be desired in the form of teaser images and sneak preview videos, but, as BMW was showcasing the 6-Series Coupe Concept, three versions of the 5-Series Touring, and the X3 Crossover at the Paris Motor Show, the sporty little Coupe was taking part in another mini show of its own. Out and about in the streets of Paris, the BMW 1M is being shown in these pictures while pieces of its black and tasteless tarp were slowing being peeled off to show glimpses of what we all have been waiting to see for quite some time now. Clearly BMW->ke178 wanted the 1M to play some part in Paris’ festivities, but the incomplete coupe only saw the pavement located on the outside of the major auto show allowing BMW to dominate both sides of the auto world during the French auto show.

The BMW 1M Coupe is said to carry the same type of engine found in the 135i and producing 306hp. Some of the changes appearing on this model will be a central duct, brake air ducts, an additional two ducts on the bonnet, two air intakes on the front wings for a typical M look, and the bar that incorporates the side indicator light. It will also have widened fenders, integrated duckbill trunk spoiler, upgraded M wheels, and large brakes with cross-drilled rotors. All of these tweaks and pinches will be available in a limited number of about 2,700 units, but these teaser images only show us a peek at a piece of the front bumper and the back bumper which allows for a glance at the quad exhaust. These offerings also allow us to view the new wheels on the sporty coupe.
