A few days ago we reported that the 2011 BMW M3 will get a new Competition Package. Not the German company revealed the official specification for the package. It will be offered for the coupe and sedan model and will be priced at $2,500.

The package further enhances the highly responsive chassis by installing a 10mm lower suspension and 19" wheels with greater offset for a wider track. Combined with remapped Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control systems, the M3 with Competition Package is the best handling production M car ever built.

This should keep Audi and the likes on their toes.

they don’t "put" it, it’s the engine.... it’s too big and it doesn’t fit... also it needs to cool down.

Pretty without the hood. I don’t like the way they put a hump in it.

they should upgrade this car first. I think they should improve the handling of the car and speed. The trade mark of BMW cars will be loss because of this car.

Evora, Carrera and soon-to-be-released IS-F convertible may have it beat but in terms of the price range, the M3 seems to be the most affordable one. A car’s performance may have a lot to do on this comparison but the price is very important for the consumer. Sometimes, an individual buys the only best thing that he can afford, although there can be better.

Well, that’s all that we’ve been waiting for. I definitely agree that this is the best M3 with Competition Package that BMW has ever built.

Indeed, the M3 is a reputable car. Makes me wonder what else would the competition kit includes.

The M3 is a respectable sportscar, but the Evora, Carrera and soon-to-be-released IS-F convertible have it beat.
