Just after BMW has unveiled the M3 Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, a lucky guy from the BMW Faq Forum caught the M3 on some winter testing.

The sport version for the current 3-series Coupe will be distinguished by its wider fender flares and quad tail pipes. The front, side, and rear skirts are placeholders, and the makeshift hood barely conceals the big V8 beneath. The front sports an aggressive yet subtle bumper while the rear displays quad exhausts like the new M5/M6.

Under the hood you will see a 4.0-liter V8 engine based on the V-10 under the hoods of the BMW M5 sedan and M6 coupe. The maximum output will go up to 415 bhp. This will help the car to make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in less that 5 second. Also the top speed is 155 mph (limited).
