Chevrolet is gearing up for the Corvette Z06’s reveal that’s less than a month away. To keep the hype going, the automaker has revealed the Z06 without any camouflage for the first time ever and it looks stunning! The company sure knows how to keep us excited.

The Corvette Z06 Is Finally Out Of The Box!

Chevy’s latest post on Instagram gives us a glimpse of the upcoming Corvette Z06. The car, finished in a shade of silver looks bold and aggressive. There’s a sharp front splitter up front along with air dams. The low-profile tires wrapped around silver-finished dual-six-spoke wheels also match the overall demeanor well. You can even see red calipers peeping from behind. The air ducts on the side profile have been designed well to match with the chiseled body. Since this is a front three-quarters image, we can’t see its derriere. However, you can see a small wing at the rear, that will be an adjustable one in all likelihood even in the base form.

A track-focused performance package could be revealed at the time of the launch. Expect it to have stuff like carbon-ceramic brakes, lighter wheels, more carbon fiber components around the body, and a larger wing and diffuser at the rear along with other aggressive aero elements.

What To Expect From The Corvette Z06?

It has been spotted testing many times in the past, including once at the company’s Proving Grounds in Milford, Michigan where it was testing its launch control system. Chevrolet teased the car in camouflage last month where it was seen standing alongside the C8.R race car. The naturally aspirated engine will make at least 600 horses and will redline at around 8,500-9,000 rpm. It will be mated to a dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Chevy had released another small video clip back in July that gave us a glimpse of what the car would sound like. The company has used the Ferrari 458 Italia as a benchmark, which also makes use of a flat-plane V-8. No wonder it sounds pretty much like a Ferrari. It was even spotted alongside one sometime back.

The Corvette Z06 debuts on 26th October.} Mark your calendars, folks. This is going to be big!
