In its 112 years on the market, Bugatti has been known for offering three important things: heritage, innovation and the finest craftsmanship. Its cars were always special in one way or another and always offered never-before-seen levels of personalization.

Today however, Bugatti announced it will take one step forward with the launch of a new bespoke customization program: "Sur Mesure". The name itself - "sur mesure" is the French word for tailored - describes what the program will be all about: offering even more customizable supercars.

The new program will allow customers to choose between an unlimited number of exterior colors and leather finishes, ultra-customized designs. The most important part, however, is that from the initial design concept through to vehicle production and final handover, Bugatti will be at the customer's disposal.

The first product of the new "Sur Mesure" program is based on the Chiron Pur Sport and was inspired by the Type 51 racing car. The car won the French Grand Prix back in 1931 with Louis Chiron together with Achille Varzi behind the wheel. The race car wore the racing number "32" - the same number you will see hand painted on the special edition Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix.

For this special supercar Bugatti also created two new exterior colors inspired by the racing cars of the ‘20s and ‘30s and a hand-applied fading "EB" painted pattern. The same ‘EB’ motif was also applied on the door panels.

The interior offers the same ‘32’ and ‘Grand Prix’ motifs. The center console inlay is finished in black anodized aluminum and features a silver hand-painted inscription. The "32" logo is embroidered onto the integrated headrests, while a "Gran Prix " logo was applied on the door sills and entry lights.

We have no word on the prices, but for sure this special Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Grand Prix is not cheap!
