Bugatti is on a roll these days with new cars under its umbrella. With the Divo creating so much hype lately, Bugatti decided to switch the focus to some other news. The automaker has subtly stated that the Chiron could finally have a sibling, although not immediately. And, from what we can deduce, it will most likely be an SUV. Talk about the market trend affecting even the most exclusive automakers!

It’ll Be Here, But Not Very Soon

Bugatti’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, said that, “For me the brand is ready to do more than one model.” Well, this doesn’t mean the car will be here anytime soon. For now, only the seeds have been planted, and the automaker is waiting to receive the necessary investment in order to develop the new car. The Volkswagen Group has a lot on its plate currently, and Winkelmann said the car would take time because VW has “significant investments in projects like autonomous driving and electric cars.”

What Will It Be Like?

Even though Bugatti is synonymous with fast ‘cars’, don’t expect the new model to be a sedan. The official word right now is that the company wants to consider several body styles and have a look at customer demand based on regions across the world. In the CEO’s words, it would be “very credible, I know a lot of people would like it,” but an SUV might make more sense financially.

Not just this, a lot of news regarding the Chiron’s various new avatars have surfaced the auto world. From what we hear, three new versions are being considered - SS, Superleggera, and Aperta.
