We know the week is only half over, but if you are already looking forward to kicking back and spending some time soaking up some R&R, we’ve got something for you. Bugatti has launched a configurator for their insanely awesome Veyron model, both coupe and Grand Sport versions.

So, if wasting away in front of your computer is your idea of a relaxing weekend then by all means, at least do so while customizing your very own, albeit fictional, Bugatti Veyron. With this configurator, you can choose the car’s exterior and interior color, as well as every detail for both: mirrors caps, wheels, air intakes, roof rail, seats, center console, and more. What you can’t do is touch the Veyron’s 16.4-liter engine that produces 1,000 HP, but why would you want to mess with an engine that gets a top speed of 253mph and makes it to 60mph on just 2.7 seconds?

It seems that the online configurator has been the trend in the car industry. It gives you the freedom to customize your own Veyron!

Previously, the Bugatti have made a contest about the ugliest Veyron using the online configurator. I was thinking if they could make that application more useful just like what the Roll Royce have done.

There’s a growing popularity among online configurator, actually its being trendy among car dealers and was used in various purposes. However, I think this fictional modification of Bugatti sounds so depressing, knowing that you can’t have any of this!

Well, this online configrurator was not only a sort of wasting time but making your time worthy. If not mistaken Bugatti have made a competition in Facebook on which is the ugliest looking Bugatti and I forgot the full detail of the prize!

I really don’t like customized cars. But it depends on the creativity of the people behind the project. Most of them are just playing with the colors, switching the engines, trial and error.

Yes, I agree with you. I have also seen another article regarding the new configurator. I’ve been wondering what were their insights in launching this one? Aren’t they tired of launching the same thing?

hmm. So what’s the use of the configurator? Though i have tried it myself, its fun actually. I think Audi and VW had release their own configurator.

Its nice to hear that Bugatti makes it way back to racing track! And I’m glad that they are moving forward! I do hope that the next successor would be a Royale-type sedan!
I love to see also the Volkswagen into F1.

Just took a look myself, but couldn’t find the color in question. Could it be Autoblog’s formidable influence is changed the world one ultra-rare, multi-million dollar exotic paint choice at a time?

This configurator is not new at all. It has been present for a several months now. However, this is sweet though.

As if the rich people need to see it in more color. I think they want a product as is. Just consider that most Ferraries are red and rich people love them... this says it all.

At the Veyron price they should have a showroom with those options, to present. However the web is cheaper!

You cheapskates! lool

Lovely, lovely, but where is the link to this configurator?

Personally I don’t even think that much people will notice, after all, how many people will actually pick out yellow for a supercar? But then again this is America, and I’m sure a group of some sort will call and complain.
