Remember those rumors about a more powerful version of the current Veyron? Turns out these are not just rumors! According to Cars UK, they have received an official confirmation from a Bugatti customer who has already placed a €400k advance for the new model.

The new Bugatti Veyron SuperSport will be limited to only 30 units, each priced at €1,650,000 (or $2 million at the current rates). This edition will be the last version of the Veyron supercar before it goes out of production. The official debut will be made at Pebble Beach in August. Deliveries will begin at the end of the year.

With a total output of 1200 HP and a weight reduction of 300 kilos, the new Veyron Supersport will make the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 2.2 seconds and will be able to hit a top speed of 264 mph. The same customer also confirmed that the new model will feature a few exterior changes. We can’t wait to see the final product!

more power, less weight? im liking this philosophy bugatti ooo 300 kg’s less is HUGE. much needed for the veyron IMO. all i wonder is... will the stability at top speed be affected? i prob don’t even need to worry... bugatti’s got it going on

if i have that kind of money I’ll never bother my self to buy this.. i would rather have a GT-R with nitro than having this piece of gas gussler sports car.

Well the tires that they are using is highly advance. It uses the same technology they used in air plains and it’s tire is rated to spin up to 275MPH.

Great. Another useless, ugly Veyron that can’t handle. And what do you know, more outrageous claims it won’t reach.
Remeber when they claimed 0-60 in 2.4s for the first Veyron? And we have seen every test gets about 2.7s. 0-60 in 2.2s is impossible with those tires and that technology. I bet it will do 0-60 in the same time. 1/4 mile should drop a tenth or two.
