Buy This McLaren-Designed $16 Million Super Garage, Get a Free 765LT (For One Year)

When you’re buying a home, you typically buy the home and the garage comes with it, right? But how often do you get offered a garage and the home — and access to a super limited supercar for one year — comes with it? That’s what’s in store for you when you take McLaren and Pendry Residences West Hollywood on their offer of a one-of-a-kind “super garage.” The two companies are joining forces to build this insane flex of luxury. It’s described as an amenity for someone who buys a two-story penthouse called Terrace Estate 608, and the price for all of that is a cough-inducing $16 million.
What’s included in the $16 million price tag?
Suppose you have $16 million in pocket change and you’re offered this ridiculous package, the first thing you’ll ask is for a list of what’s included, right? Well, we’re not the ones selling the property, but here’s where your $16 million will go.
You’ll get a two-story penthouse that measures 3,015 sq. ft (280.1 sq m). You get three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a power room, and an outdoor terrace that takes 212 sq ft (19.7 sq m) in space. That’s just the two-story penthouse. The real pièce de résistance in this transaction is the garage. Yes, the garage.
McLaren and Pendry Residences West Hollywood call it “The Show Room,” and it’s all that and more.
It covers a space of 1,719 sq ft (159.7 sq m), making it larger than some homes.
There’s enough space for up to five vehicles, entertainment areas, a wet bar, or whatever else you can think to add. There’s enough space in the garage that you can actually customize the way it’s set up. Take this route and McLaren and EYRC Architecture will take care of it for you. Access to the garage and the two-story penthouse is coursed through a private elevator so you can enjoy your purchase without worrying about other people getting a peek of it without your consent.
So, the two-story penthouse and “The Show Room” make up the $16 million. It’s right around the price you’d expect for property in West Hollywood, California, but if you buy the whole thing, you also get a one-year lease of a McLaren 765LT. No, you don’t get the car forever, but considering that only 765 units are available, a one-year lease is better than a no-year lease, right?
To sweeten the pot, McLaren is also throwing in a McLaren Senna, albeit the electric ride-on that the automaker launched for children.
How’s all that for $16 million? Is it a sweet deal or an easy pass? I suppose it depends on how loose of a change $16 million is.
