By now, you’ve probably seen the trailer for Entourage the Movie. The usual cast of characters are there, as are a parade of guest appearances from some of the biggest names in the world of sports and entertainment. In other words, it’s typical Entourage, right down to Ari Gold’s temper tantrums. But lost in the two-and-a-half minute video is the appearance of a vehicle we didn’t think would make it out of the prototype phase, let alone a high-budget Hollywood blockbuster.

Watch the teaser trailer one more time and you’ll notice that yes, that’s the Cadillac Ciel Concept right there. The concept, which we first saw at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, is prominently featured in the trailer. It gets driven around pretty good by both Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), which suggests that we could see a whole lot of the Ciel Concept in the movie itself.

That would be an absolute thrill, even if it’s probably the closest thing we see of the concept out on the public road. The Ciel Concept’s long, low proportions, the French-style doors and rear doors, and the evocative front end design immediately pops out in the movie like the modern-day classic Cadillac envisioned it being.

Hopefully, the Entourage movie isn’t the only place we see the Ciel Concept in the future. Who knows, if it gets a lot of media mileage like we expect it to get, Caddy might be coaxed into green lighting a production version.

Cross your fingers, peeps.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More
