Chevy is having a lot of fun introducing the 2010 Camaro. It’s taking a feature role in the Transformers movies, and now its also going to be the pace car for the Daytona 500 this Sunday.

Underneath the flame paint job and light bar is a standard a Camaro SS. It’s powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 426 hp and 408 lb.-ft. of torque. This will be only the third time a Camaro has paced the field at Daytona, the last time being forty years ago.
