Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood took the best out of the new Camaro SS muscle car. The tuner made modifications starting with performance, wheels, interior and audio.

The car's silver racing stripes were replaced with red one, the white section of the front and the SS logo was also covered in red, the gold front and the Chevy logo were covered in matte black and dark smoke films were applied to the front and rear side markers. Next to all this the tuner added Gianelle 24″ Santorini wheels and a Corsa performance exhaust system.

And we kept the best part for last: the interior. Al&Ed's Autosound added two Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 EQ processors, seven Focal amplifiers totaling over 3,000 watts of power and two Focal 12″ subwoofers.

This 2010 Chevy Camaro SS was completely customized from performance, 24″ wheels and tires, interior and audio.

When one of our best customers drove to our store in his brand new 2010 Chevy Camaro SS we instantly knew that this car was going to become show piece.  Here is a breakdown of the bespoke upgrades that Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood, Ca did to this car.

Exterior & Performance

Originally the car had silver racing stripes which we replaced with red ones. Some of the red striping material was also used to cover the white section of the front and rear SS badges. We also used matte black material to cover the gold front and rear Chevy logos.  Dark smoke film was applied to the front and rear side markers  which gave the car a more aggressive look.

Since the stock 20″ wheels and tires were just too plain Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood,Ca installed Gianelle 24″ Santorini wheels and tires by Giovanna. We also installed KoKo Kuture red bezels which are colored rings that attach to outer edge of the wheels.  All these upgrades truly changed the overall exterior appearance of the car. To add to the performance a Corsa performance exhaust system was installed.

Interior

The interior door and dash panels we originally silver. In order to keep with the red and black them we painted these panels in the same color red as the racing stripes.

The front and rear seats were originally factory black leather and vinyl. Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood, Ca completely reupholstered the interior using Mercedes Benz grade Napa black and red leather.  We also used extra thick black thread when stitching the seats together. The doors we also reupholstered in leather to cover the factory plastic panels and create a more upscale feeling to the interior.

The headliner and pillars were reupholstered in black suede.

Audio

This is what we do best at Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood,Ca! First we started off with two Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 EQ processors.  These processors each offer 153 bands of equalization, time alignment and an independent subwoofer control knob. After we install this device and hook it up to our laptop via bluetooth we can control and tune each speaker in the car independently.

Seven Focal amplifiers totaling over 3,000 watts of power were used in this one of a kind audiophile system.  Focal 165KRX3 three-way component speakers were installed in the front of the car. The 6.5″ mid bass speakers were installed in the doors and the 3″ and tweeters were custom molded into the front “A” pillars of the car. Two four channel Focal Solid amplifiers power these speakers.

Focal 165KRX2 two-way component speakers were custom installed in the rear deck of the car and powered by another Focal Solid amplifier.

Two Focal 12″ subwoofers were custom installed in the trunk of the car. A port was created through the rear deck for the bass play into the car. Four Focal Solid amplifiers were used to power the subwoofers.

Stinger wire and interconnects were used throughout the sound system.
