Spy photos of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 have been flying all around the web lately, and today is no different. These most recent spy photos are of not one, but two Z28 prototypes (one red and one blue) that were caught testing in Colorado.

As you know by now, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 will be powered by a 6.2L LSA V8 engine that will deliver more than 555 HP. The roar of that engine alone is enough to make us want the classic muscle car, but Chevrolet->ke199 has gone and added a more aggressive front end and a larger bubble on the hood to make room for the supersized engine.

As for the other changes made to the vehicle, the front fascia will sit a little lower than the previous model and the muscle car will also get larger air intakes. The back of the car will receive a quad exhaust with dual pipes on each side. For an added edge, the Camaro will get 20″ SP550 anodized black (20×10 in the front and 20×11 in the rear) wrapped in Goodyear tires.

We love getting these spy shots of the Camaro Z28 just as much as the next guy, but, seriously, 2012 cannot arrive soon enough!
