Very few companies could join forces and produce a love child as wild and exhilarating as the AM-RB 001, but somehow Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have just the right chemistry to create what promises to be the most intense road car ever built. It's projected performance is “in line with that of today’s LMP1 Le Mans sports prototypes” and it should be able to “corner like an LMP1 car” as well. With the latest iteration of the prototype being unveiled in early July, the Internet has gone crazy over its projected performance, but there is much more to the car than that.

With Adrian Newey, the head of Red Bull Racing, it doesn’t come as a surprise that this car has some interesting aerodynamic characteristics. With that in mind, it’s a bit surprising that everyone is focused on the car's projected power output, with very few media outlets looking at the car’s aerodynamics in detail. The car will ultimately change a bit as AM and RB finalize the car and make it production ready, but until then, Kyle Drives has put together a short video detailing the aerodynamic features of AM’s newest hypercar.

In the video, he covers everything from the front spoiler to the rear wing and everything in between, even addressing issues like cooling capabilities in the rear and what Newey might change to make the car production ready. With that said, go ahead and click play on the video and learn everything you ever wanted to know about the AM-RB 001’s enhanced aerodynamics – there really is more to its aerodynamic design than you might think.
